Richard Hudson is a professional management consultant with 30 years experience in public practice. He has been a member of the Institute of Certified Management Consultants of Alberta since 1978. He is Senior Partner of Manecon Business Strategies Inc.

Richard Hudson was instrumental in developing and documenting the Common Body of Knowledge in Marketing for the Institute of Management Consultants of Canada, against which university examinations are written and marked. He has also acted as examination marker for the ICMCA and has served on the Board of Directors of ICMCA.

Richard has been in professional practice as a management and economic consultant continuously since 1974. His practice remains focused on the development of strategies based on research and evaluation and marketing research, which has been its direction since 1974. Richard's professional assignments have been undertaken in most sectors of the economy. He has direct experience as a management consultant and researcher in many countries in the world in assignments with local, regional, national, and international impact. His client base includes publicly and privately held companies, regional ventures and small businesses, government organizations at all levels, associations and societies, and special interest groups.
